Warded keys
are a master set of keys which will open every
warded lock. Warded padlocks are identified by
an irregular 'zig-zag' keyway. All
one has to do is to try each key in your
warded key set, by first placing the key in to
the lock as far as possible, and then gently
turning. If you have no success in opening the
lock move the key out of the lock slightly and
turn the key again. Repeat this process until
one of the five keys pops open the lock.
The wards
inside the lock prevent a normal key from
releasing the locking bolt. With the skeleton
keys however, it's only a matter of seconds
before one of the five keys pops open the
lock, every time.
