Lock Picking Guns
People who have picked locks using picks and tension wrenches know that a certain amount of finesse is needed for success. It's not surprising, therefore, that they have a difficult time understanding how lock pick guns work. Lock pick guns work instantly, and don't require different levels of pressure needed for varying pin resistance. Understanding How They Work A good way to understand how a lock pick gun works is to think of the game of billiards. In the game of billiards, the cue ball is used to force other balls to move. When the cue ball hits two other balls that are touching, for example, the cue stops and the middle ball remains stationary, but the third ball moves. This happens because kinetic energy is transferred from the cue to the second ball, and then immediately to the third. In a lock, the pins are similar to billiard balls, in that energy is transferred from the needle of the gun to the first pin, and then successively to the remaining pins. While lock picking guns do provide some of the fastest entry capabilities, we do recommend at Lockpicksonline that you become familiar with traditional lock picking methods first. It's important to know how basic picks work because a tension wrench is still necessary. Even though the pins are being manipulated at a much faster level, there still needs to be a way to hold picked pins in place.
